Bollywood Rhythms of India

The Rhythm of Every Celebration.

From sangeet nights in Mumbai to weddings in London, Toronto and Dubai, the world celebrates to Bollywood beats. Bollywood Rhythms of India brings that energy, and the players behind it, into your DAW, ready to play.

Three kits: the Dandiya Band Kit, the Trash Can Ensemble Kit and the Dholak-Tabla Kit. Every kit was played by real musicians and recorded in a high-quality studio – 3,115 samples in total (2,408 one-shots and 707 loops).

These are not just loop folders. Each kit gives you playable one-shots, loops, velocity layers, round robins, and close and room mic controls. Every instrument was also recorded as solo, duo and full ensemble performances, so one track can go from a single dholak in a quiet verse to a whole band in the chorus.

The Dholak-Tabla Kit puts the dholak’s bouncy beat with the tabla’s clean, sharp hits: the groove you hear in folk songs, wedding songs, ghazals and qawwalis.

The dholak gives the bounce – a deep low side that bends in pitch and a bright, snappy high side. The tabla gives the detail: sharp hits, rolls and fast fills. Real players did it for you.
