Parallax delivers an easy to use soundesign and movement tool. There are truly an infinite number of possible variations using the random tool, but the strength is its sound processing capability. Tiny footprint with a small amount of presets and dynamic filtering choices makes this a great entry level to for young engineers looking ideas and quick mock up.

Parallax is honestly a really cool plugin if you like messing around with sound but still want things to stay clean and controlled. I like how the Reality Engine tightens everything up and keeps your transients punchy and focused, and then the Dream Engine can just melt the sound into this wide, atmospheric texture without it turning into total mud. The Morph knob is probably my favorite part because you can smoothly blend between tight and trippy instead of just switching modes. It feels musical and easy to experiment with, whether you’re shaping drums, synths, or just trying to make something sound bigger and more immersive without overcomplicating your mix.

This is an amazing effect plugin for Psy & Ambient kind of music. I don’t recommend setting the plugin at 100% wet though as it makes the overall sound very thin (or maybe I didn’t spend enough time with it yet), but it sounds great at lower settings. It adds just that little bit of extra sauce and you can get pretty creative with it, especially if you add other moonwave plugins like Warper to the chain of effects. //ShamanDelic
