AudioPrism 2.1

AudioPrism is one Windows app for the whole path from a song you found to a song you can take apart, mix and play. Paste a link (YouTube, SoundCloud or a direct link) and the audio is saved in your library as a WAV, not an MP3. You can also drop in a file.

Splitting runs on your own PC with Demucs, so nothing is uploaded, and there is no account and no daily limit. Choose an acapella, an instrumental, a single instrument, or all six stems: vocals, drums, bass, guitar, piano and other. AudioPrism uses an NVIDIA graphics card when there is one and otherwise runs on the processor. Every song also shows its BPM and key, with the Camelot code for DJs.

New in 2.1, every split loads into a stem mixer: each stem on its own lane with fader, mute, solo and meter, plus reverb, EQ, a beat-synced auto-filter and drawn automation. Edit clips, snap to the beat, loop a section, record your voice or an instrument over the song, and export the mix to WAV or MP3. Pull the mixer into its own window and keep it ON TOP.

Turn piano, guitar, bass, vocal and other stems into MIDI for your DAW. Then open KeyPrism: falling notes with note names and fingering, slow down to 40%, loop a bar, practice hands separately, learn or scored play mode – every song gets a PLAYABLE% rating.

Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit (no Mac version). About 15 GB disk space (3.65 GB installer). Uses an NVIDIA GPU when available, otherwise the CPU. Optional: MIDI keyboard for KeyPrism, microphone for recording.
